If you are looking for a good movie to see this weekend, make it this one. I took the kids yesterday afternoon and I don't know who dug it more, me or them.
It's full of humour, adventure, magic and tons of action. It's fun and exhilarating. If the red headed princess Merida doesn't sweep you off your feet and charm you silly, then Fergus (her father) will crack you up, not to mention Merida's three rascally brothers who get up to lots of no good.
The other great aspect to the movie was it's wonderful soundtrack. I will definitely be downloading this one for it's absolutely beautiful songs!

Probably one of Pixar’s best-looking flicks, but not their best film at all. Has a great set-up, but then loses itself about half-way through and just got a little too kiddish for me. Then again, maybe some parents will like that and so will the kids, so who am I to judge? Good review Andrew.

ReplyDeleteI'm a fairly easy critic to please. I am easily swept up by such films. I think it's the part of me that never grew up. :)
