BREAK YOU by Blake Crouch

Cover by Jeroen ten Berge
BREAK YOU: A Novella of Terror (Andrew Z. Thomas Thriller) is the third installment in the Andrew Z. Thomas thrillers and possibly the most gut wrenching of the three.

Unlike DESERT PLACES and LOCKED DOORS, BREAK YOU is a novella that checks in around 20,000 words but has what I can only imagine are big implications for what is to come.

And what is that, you say?

Later this year Blake Crouch and J.A. Konrath are teaming up for another thriller called STIRRED.

STIRRED promises to be an epic thriller that will complete Konrath's popular Jack Daniels series of mysteries and Crouch's own Andrew Thomas/Luther Kite stories.

BREAK YOU is what Crouch calls a bridge between his series and Konrath's. I certainly won't give any details into the events of this book. That's for you to discover.

What I will say is with each story of Crouch's I read I become a bigger fan. I love his mastery of setting and the way he crafts a scene. He has the ability to bring a reader to the edge of their seat and when you're least expecting it, knock you on your ass. And BREAK YOU will knock you on your ass.

  1. I really love a great novella. Were the first two novella length, too? I was thinking they were longer.

  2. The first two are full length books. Just the third part is novella length. Solid story though.

  4. Hey Deneen! I love my Kindle (that's probably pretty obvious from all my posts) but confess to having never looked into the Sony e-reader.
